Central Georgia Council Staff Corps
Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews can join CGC Staff Corps! Staff Corps is a service opportunity for Cub Scout activites throughout the Central Georgia Council. This is a great way to provide free camping opportunities for your units and build relationships with Cub Scouts and their families.
What is Staff Corps?
Staff Corps is a program for Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews to provide service at Cub Adventure Weekends throughout the year. Service activities include program staffing, dining hall operations, parking and logistics. Participation is free and all benefits are provided at no cost.
What do Scouts receive?
Benefits vary from event to event. However, all events include camping space and a patch for each Scout. Some events will include meals in dining hall and an event t-shirt. Plus, all hours count toward service requirements for ranks and school obligations. There is no cost to participate (free camping weekend for your unit!).
