Scout Like a Girl
May 13th at Camp Benjamin Hawkins
We are so excited to offer the first All-Female Scout Skills event in the Central Georgia Council! This event is an opportunity for new female troops to get camping experience and help with planning, scout skills, and resources!
This is the perfect opportunity for new female Scouts and female Webelos that will be crossing over soon!
Come out and learn some of the valuable scout skills that are needed to start out as a Scout, including tips and tricks to overcome some of the challenges specific to Scouting for girls and women!
Webelos are invited to join in and learn how to set up camp cooking, lashings, first aid, knots, fire building, compass skills, and Scout trivia!
Please eat breakfast before you arrive on Saturday morning. Lunch will be provided and scouts will learn how to cook a campfire favorite- Walking Tacos! Make sure to specify if your scout has food allergies we need to know about.
